Opraštam se od ovog bloga. više ne namjeravam pisat ovaj blog tak da više nemorate pitat kad će novi post. zapravo ovo i je post ali ne o Britney. no na sreću ću ostavit ovaj blog i neću ga obrisat. zapravo napravit ću malu anketu

Grammy
Prije nego što je u veljači 2000. godine osvojila nagradu Grammy bila je i u utrci za osvajanje titule najboljeg novog izvođača (Best New Artist). Nagradu je pripala njenoj dobroj znanici iz Mickey Mouse Cluba - Christini Aquileri. 
Drugi album Oops!... I Did It Again u prodaji se pojavio početkom svibnja 2000. godine. Samo u prvih tjedan dana album se prodao u milijun i tristo tisuća primjeraka. To je ovaj album učinilo najbolje prodavanim albumom neke pjevačice ikada u Sjedinjenim Državama. Zahvaljujući tome albumu nominirana je za dvije Grammy nagrade - Best Vocal Pop Album (najbolji vokalni pop album)) i Best Female Pop Vocal Perfomance (najbolji ženska izvedba pop vokala) za singl Oops!... I Did It Again.

Heart To Heart
Godine 1999. s majkom je napisala knjigu Heart To Heart. U knjizi Britney Spears i njena majka pišu o životu, ljubavi, slavi i snovima. No, u knjizi možete naći i odgovore, koje nude autorice knjige, na posve realna pitanja: Kako razgovarati s majkom? Kako ohrabrivati vlastito dijete? Kako se nositi s uspjehom i neuspjehom? Mlada Britney je osnovala i Britney Spears Foundation, fondaciju koja organizira ljetne kampove u saveznoj državi Massachusetts za neprivilegiranu djecu. Obrazlažući razloge zašto je utemeljila Britney Spears Foundation popularna Britney je rekla: "Tako sam sretna što mogu djecu dati priliku da nauče ponešto o zapanjujućem svijetu plesa i glazbe, a koji je zahvaljujući sreći postao veliki dio mog života."

Prvi album
Početkom 1998. godine je snimljen njezin prvi album Baby One More Time. Nije puštan u prodaju do 12. siječnja 1999. godine. Za to vrijeme Britney je radila promotivne nastupe u trgovačkim centrima diljem SAD-a. Njen prvi singl Baby One More Time je pušten u prodaju 1998. godine u listopadu. Album se, nakon objavljivanja, vrlo brzo našao na vrhu glazbenih top lista. To ga je učinilo prvim debi albumom i u Sjedinjenim Državama je postao album godine.
Video spot u kojem je Britney obučena kao stidljiva katolička srednjoškolka također je zasjeo na prva mjesta top lista glazbenih video spotova. Album se do rujna 1999. godine prodao u preko 6 milijuna primjeraka. U lipnju, nešto prije toga, je Britney krenula na prvu solo turneju. Iste je godine pokupila hrpu nagrada MTV Europe-a - Best Female, Best Pop, Best Breakthrough Artist i Best Song.

Njen početak
S osam godina se probila do svjetla estrade. Prijavila se za show Mickey Mouse Club. Producenti su se jednodušno složili da je premlada. Nije bila prošla audiciju. No nije sve bilo crno. Jedan od producenata se njome oduševio i pomogao joj pronaći agenta u New Yorku. Prvi uspjeh je bio 1991. godine kada glumi opsjednuto dijete u filmu Ruthless. U dobi od 11 godina ponvno sudjeluje na audiciji za Mickey Mouse Club. Tada je prošla audiciju. U Orlandu na Floridi je živjela 1993. i 1994. godine jer je tamo snimana emisija. Boravila je u paviljonu u kojem je boravila i cijela ekipa, a u emisiji, pored nje, su nastupala dva buduća člana grupe 'N Sync i Keri Russell koja je buduća zvijezda Warner Brosowog serijala Felicity. Nakon završetka snimanja Mickey Mouse Club showa, Britney se upisala u srednju školu u rodnoj Louisiani. U petnaestoj godini odlazi u New York na razgovor s čelnicima tvrtke Jive Record koja se bavi nakladom zvuka. S Jive Recordsom Britney je potpisala ugovor i u naredne je dvije godine snimila svoj debi album s producentima Ericom Fosterom Whiteom (radio s Whitney Houston) i Maxom Martinom (radio s Backstreet Boysima).
